Admissions & Eligibility

Who can join CIMT courses?

Anyone above 18 years with a passion for media. No prior experience in photography, video editing, or graphic design is required. We accept students from 10th pass onwards.

When is the next batch starting?

New batches start every 2–3 months. Contact our admissions team or call us to know the exact next batch date and available seats.

Can I join without knowing any software?

Absolutely. All CIMT programs start from zero. Our curriculum is designed for complete beginners and builds you up to professional proficiency.

Is there an entrance test or interview?

No formal entrance test. We conduct a free counselling session to understand your goals and suggest the most suitable course. You can book this via our website or by calling us.

Courses & Curriculum

What courses does CIMT offer?

CIMT offers four professional master programs: Photography Master Program (6 months), Cinematography Master Program (6 months), Video Editing & VFX Master Program (5 months), and Graphic Design Mastery Program (6 months). All courses are available in both online and offline modes. We also offer 34 short crash courses across 7 categories.

How long are the courses?

Photography, Cinematography, and Graphic Design programs run for 6 months. The Video Editing & VFX program is 5 months. Photography, Cinematography, and Graphic Design include 2 months of industrial training at Camrin Films; Video Editing includes 1 month.

What software will I learn?

Photography: Adobe Bridge, Lightroom, Photoshop. Video Editing: Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro. Graphic Design: Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom.

Is there a Cinematography course?

Yes — our Cinematography Master Program is available. Contact us for the current schedule and batch details.

Online vs Offline

What is the difference between online and offline courses?

The curriculum and certificate are identical. Offline students attend our Aluva, Kochi campus with full studio access and equipment. Online students join live sessions from anywhere with recorded content access and assignment feedback.

Can I switch from online to offline?

Yes, subject to seat availability in the offline batch. Speak to our admissions team to arrange the transfer.

How does the online class work?

Online classes are held live via video conferencing at scheduled times. Sessions are also recorded for revisiting. Assignments are submitted online and reviewed by instructors. WhatsApp groups keep online students connected with the batch.

Fees & Payment

What is the course fee?

Course fees are competitive and reflect the quality of training, equipment access, and placement support. Contact us directly for the current fee structure — we offer flexible payment plans and discuss options during the free counselling session.

Is there an EMI option?

Yes. We offer instalment payment options. Details are discussed during the admissions counselling session.

Are there any additional costs?

The course fee covers training, materials, and software access during the program. Students are not required to purchase any equipment or software to join.

Placement & Career

Does CIMT offer 100% placement assistance?

Yes. CIMT provides placement assistance through our network of industry partners, Camrin Films connections, and alumni network. We actively assist graduates in finding suitable employment or freelance opportunities.

What kind of jobs do graduates get?

Our graduates work as professional photographers, wedding videographers, video editors, motion graphics artists, graphic designers, album designers, content creators, and media production assistants — across Kerala and India.

How soon can I find a job after completing the course?

Most CIMT graduates find their first professional opportunity within 1–3 months of completing the industrial training phase. Strong portfolio development during the course is the biggest factor in placement speed.
